BMYSO Recreational League Info Interested in the BMYSO Recreational
Program? The recreational program is
designed for player development and equal / fair play time. The teams usually
practice once per week and play their games on Saturday’s. We start developing kids at the U5
age group and we have programs all the way up to the U18 age group. Ages are defined by the child’s age
on July 31. For example, a child turning 10 on August 7th is 9 on
July 31st and therefore will be placed in the U10 age group. Our recreational teams are a mix of
coed and not, this all depends on the mix of kids that registered. BMYSO Travel League Info Interested in the BMYSO Travel Program? The player has to be prepared
for multiple practices during the week and more intense play during the
weekend The parents have to be prepared
for the above and the actual
travel. We have gone as far as the outskirts of The cost is greater. The
uniform is $65 and registration in $65 Ages are defined by the child’s age on
July 31. For example, a child turning 10 on August 7th is 9 on
July 31st and therefore will be placed in the U10 age group. Tryouts are held in June each
year and are used to select the travel teams that will stay together for the
following fall AND spring seasons. Information on tryouts are emailed to all
BMYSO members and as well, posted on our web page There is no tryout for the
spring season, separate from the fall season. There has been an occasion
where a coach needed additional players, for many reasons, and there has been
an out-of-cycle tryout for the spring season. BMYSO does their best to notify
everyone when this occurs. Now, with the benefit of our online registration
utility, we can send out “email blasts” to all players affected Games are played according to
the BAYS schedule. Either Saturday or Sunday No travel players

Registration Calendar The BMYSO Board has recently voted
to hold registrations at the same time every year in hopes of keeping our
schedule consistent and making it easier for parents to plan and prepare for
the upcoming soccer seasons. If your child has attended tryouts and
you do not register until the placement decisions have been made, the $5 late
will be waived for you.
A $5.00 late fee
will be added to late registrations instead of the wait list we have utilized
over the part couple of seasons. |
